Penny Kemp, Director
Penny Kemp has been a director since Sept 2013 and has the following to say about why she joined Greenhouse: “I was initially attracted to running events in the Greenhouse when I felt a spiritual “pull” that coinciding with Rita and Peter, of the Unitarians, working there. For three years I ran 24 hour Prayers for World Peace vigils annually and a Progressive Interfaith spin off group, monthly.
Now retired from teaching. and wanting to do more of this work, I naturally gravitated to the volunteering at the Greenhouse and became a Director. Spirit had other ideas though and presented me with a property on Bethesda High Street to develop as a sort of mini “Greenhouse”.
Valuing the links with Bangor and the spirit of the work that I feel is growing at the Bangor Greenhouse, I am continuing to work there while developing the project I’ve been “given” in Bethesda.”
