Getting to us by train

There are trains to Bangor every day of the week, at least once per hour in peak times. Arriva Trains Wales and Virgin Trains are the current travel providers, and they operate direct services from Chester, Crewe, Birmingham, London and Cardiff.

Once you’ve arrived at the train station, Greenhouse is less than a mile away on foot and should take you around 15 minutes. Turn right out of the front entrance to the station and you’ll see three roads; take the one furthest to your right. Continue straight on, using the traffic lights to cross the road and pass Dominoes. Continue along the High St (one of the longest High Streets in the UK!), passing various shops, the cathedral on your left, reaching the clock and continuing until you pass the Skerries pub on your right, and The Play Centre on your left. Greenhouse is directly ahead of you, on the corner of Friar’s Road.

If you’d prefer not to walk, there is a taxi rank directly outside the train station. A taxi should cost you no more than £3 – £4, dependent on traffic.
